About this role
The Engin Lab in the Department of Biomolecular Chemistry seeks a Scientist to study mechanisms of type 1 diabetes with a focus on cellular stress responses, organelle dysfunction, and beta cell–immune cell interactions. The position supports in vitro and in vivo research using mouse models and primary mouse and human islets and contributes to the lab's research program and scientific dissemination. The appointment may be at the Scientist I or Scientist II level depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
