About this role

Generate’s Prototyping Lab is seeking Scientists to develop pooled screens for testing hundreds of thousands of protein variants in parallel to identify binders and modulators. The role involves designing DNA libraries, executing pooled in vitro protein display, and performing NGS-based enrichment analysis to generate quantitative insights into protein function. This position requires close collaboration with Protein Sciences and Machine Learning teams to advance new screening technologies and support drug program acceleration.

Responsibilities

Build pooled screening workflows for scalable protein binding and functional readouts
Design and run pooled binding screens using purified proteins and cell-based assays
Analyze complex screening data and write scripts in Python for quantitative insights
