SCIP Peer Support

The Peer Specialist provides supportive peer counseling and advocacy to adult consumers in the Screening Crisis Intervention Program, utilizing personal recovery journey to help others feel supported. The role involves helping consumers set wellness goals, teaching coping skills, and guiding them to community resources. This position requires demonstrating knowledge of mental illness and community services to provide appropriate care.
