About this role

The SCR Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the preparation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems on Damen vessels. This role ensures that emission control systems comply with IMO Tier III requirements and operate safely and efficiently during harbor and sea trials. The position involves close collaboration with project teams, OEM suppliers, and classification societies to support vessel delivery and acceptance.

Responsibilities

Commission and validate SCR systems including urea dosing and air supply
Diagnose system faults and optimize NOx reduction performance during trials
Prepare commissioning reports and verify compliance with regulatory requirements
