The Hunger Coalition is a community-based nonprofit whose mission is "building community through food" by reducing hunger and improving nutrition for people in its service area. It rescues and distributes food through pantries, mobile distributions, partner agencies and meal programs, while also providing nutrition education and workforce-support programs (such as culinary/job training) to help families move toward self-sufficiency.
