Section Principal Cello

The Section Principal Cello performs consistently to the highest standards in rehearsals and performances, leading the section and liaising with the Orchestra Manager on fixing lists and freelance bookings. This part-time role supports the Artistic Programme under the direction of the Music Director and Company Management, with engagements across London, regional UK venues, and potential international touring. The position requires a minimum guarantee of 80 sessions per season and involves collaboration with the Engagement Department on school visits and workshops.
