Security Engineer - ISSE

About this role

Responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity engineering activities throughout the system lifecycle including design, integration, testing, deployment, sustainment, and modernization.
• Support implementation and integration of cybersecurity controls, security architectures, and defensive technologies across mission systems and enterprise environments.
• Assist with Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities including security control implementation, assessment support, POA&M management, and compliance documentation.
• Support system hardening, vulnerability assessment, patch management, and security remediation activities.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, software development, integration, and operations teams to ensure cybersecurity requirements are incorporated into system designs and deployments.
