Security Engineer

About this role
The Security Engineer will join Benchling’s security team responsible for protecting highly sensitive R&D data by building and maintaining security tools and mission-critical infrastructure. The role leads complex, multi-quarter projects, drives architectural decisions, and partners across engineering teams to implement security controls in the AWS cloud. The position also involves supporting detection and response, defining standards for security data, and mentoring other engineers.
