Security Officer

Under the direction of the security supervisor, this role protects the life and property of all persons on Baystate Health property by patrolling facilities, monitoring surveillance systems, and enforcing access control programs. The officer responds to emergency codes, handles disruptive situations, and provides escorts to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees. The position also involves conducting preliminary investigations, operating weapons detection systems, and assisting with traffic control during emergent situations.
