SEIU Maintenance Worker III

The San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) is seeking qualified Automatic Fare Collection Electronic Technicians to support the maintenance, repair, and modification of the District's automatic fare collection systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that BART's fare collection equipment, including ticket vendors, dispensers, and fare gates, remains fully operational to support safe, reliable, and efficient transit service for the riding public. The incumbent will work under the general supervision of the Automatic Fare Collection Foreworker and will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, electronic, and mechanical components of AFC equipment at the journey level.
