Self Direction Mentor (DSP-Self Direction)

A Self Direction Mentor works directly with individuals with developmental disabilities to plan and provide habilitative or respite support within their home and community. The role focuses on increasing skill levels and independence by addressing goals outlined in the individual's self-direction plan. Services are provided in compliance with state, federal, and agency regulations, with pay established by the individual from their personal Medicaid budget.
