The role supports pupils aged 8 to 16 with social, emotional and mental health needs in a new SEN school. Working alongside class teachers, the teaching assistant provides one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance, helps manage challenging behaviour, and promotes inclusive, trauma‑informed learning.
