About this role

The Senior AI&T Engineering II/Principal (Mechanical) role in Rocket Lab’s Optical Systems division leads mechanical integration and verification for high-reliability payload assemblies and flight hardware supporting DoD and Intelligence Community customers. Based in Tucson, AZ, the position requires hands-on build, alignment, test preparation, and collaboration with optics, electrical, systems, and AIT teams. Candidates must hold appropriate U.S. government security clearance and have extensive experience with space or high-reliability hardware integration and testing.
