Divergent is seeking a hands-on Additive Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to transition next-generation Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) production equipment from development into high-volume manufacturing. The role ensures production equipment is stable, reliable, and scalable while delivering world-class safety, quality, and cost performance. As the manufacturing footprint expands, the engineer will solve equipment problems at the machine level and help transform solutions into engineering standards deployed across the entire fleet.

Responsibilities

Transition next-generation Laser Powder Bed Fusion equipment from development into high-volume manufacturing
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, and process-related issues affecting production equipment
Improve equipment reliability, throughput, yield, and overall equipment effectiveness across the production fleet
