The Senior API Engineer designs, builds, and operates high-quality, cloud-native REST APIs to power LPL's core business platforms using Python and AWS. This critical role involves modernizing legacy integrations, establishing engineering standards, and ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable API services across the organization.

Responsibilities

Design and develop Python-based REST APIs for business-critical workflows
Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform modules
Implement secure authentication mechanisms including OAuth2 and JWT
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API standards and architecture
