About this role

Vistra is seeking a Senior Associate for Tax Compliance & Advisory to lead independent tax engagements and ensure compliance with statutory deadlines for clients in Malaysia. The role involves preparing complex tax returns, managing client communications on filing matters, and supporting advisory projects including transfer pricing. This position is based on-site in Kuala Lumpur and reports directly to the Director of the department.

Responsibilities

Independently manage complex tax compliance engagements and statutory deadlines.
Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with clients on filing matters including credits, refunds, and set-offs.
Support tax advisory projects including transfer pricing assignments and proposals.
Maintain accurate client trackers and engagement documentation per firm standards.
