The Senior Backend Engineer will design and build Duve's modern, scalable Node.js platform, creating high-quality microservices and infrastructure that handle millions of events across hospitality integrations. The role involves collaborating with third‑party engineers, mentoring developers, and optimizing MongoDB and Redis performance to ensure reliable, high‑throughput SaaS operations.
Duve is a guest experience platform for hotels, vacation rentals, hostels and other accommodations that centralizes guest communications, digital check‑in and in‑stay services. It offers a white‑label guest app and messaging tools, automated pre‑arrival and in‑stay workflows, an e‑concierge for upsells and local recommendations, plus payment and self‑service features. Duve integrates with property management systems and OTAs to streamline operations, reduce front‑desk workload and increase ancillary revenue. The platform is designed to improve guest satisfaction through personalized, automated touchpoints across the entire guest journey.
