Archer
As a Senior Battery Component Designer at Archer, you will lead the end-to-end design of high-voltage battery packs for both commercial and defense electric aircraft. You will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and certification teams to ensure designs meet stringent FAA requirements while pushing technical boundaries in the aerospace sector. This role hands-on prototyping and development support throughout the entire product lifecycle, directly contributing to the development of sustainable vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
Archer designs and develops electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft — electric air taxis — for use in urban air mobility networks. The company’s mission is to “unlock the skies,” enabling people to reimagine how they move and spend time by bringing on-demand, low‑emission aerial transit to cities. Archer’s team is based in Santa Clara, California and is focused on advancing aircraft design, testing, and commercialization.
