Senior Clerk

This highly responsible and independent position assists the billing office under the direct supervision of the Revenue Administrator I – SES within the Billing Department of the Office of Public Health Financial Management Division. The role involves maintaining accounting and financial records, processing third-party reimbursement claims, and ensuring compliance with vendor policies and HIPAA guidelines. The incumbent is responsible for gathering information on Medicaid HMO denials, reconciling payment reports, and utilizing the Health Management System (HMS) to process billing and verify client eligibility. Additionally, the position requires training new employees, preparing meeting materials, and performing various administrative duties to support daily billing operations.
