About this role

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer specializing in Cloud Workload Protection to secure Roche's multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments, including IaaS, PaaS, containers, and serverless architectures. This role bridges traditional endpoint defense with modern cloud infrastructure by deploying CWPP platforms and integrating security into DevSecOps pipelines. You will architect holistic security strategies for dynamic, cloud-native workloads while automating remediation for misconfigurations and threats.

Responsibilities

Architect and manage Cloud Workload Protection Platforms across multi-cloud environments
Implement runtime defense and hardening for containerized applications and Kubernetes clusters
Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines to scan images and IaC templates
Develop automated response playbooks for cloud misconfigurations using serverless functions
Bridge endpoint security strategies to ephemeral cloud-native workloads
