About this role

The Senior Commissioning Engineer leads testing, commissioning, and initial energization activities for utility‑scale high‑voltage substations, battery energy storage systems, and photovoltaic facilities. This remote role provides technical authority, develops complex energization strategies, mentors commissioning staff, and ensures compliance with specifications, utility requirements, and industry standards while supporting field operations and post‑energization support.

Develop and approve testing and commissioning plans, procedures, and deliverables
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate commissioning engineers
