About this role

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Senior Engineering Specialist to perform analysis, modeling, and simulation of advanced communications and signal collection/processing systems within the Mission Payloads Division. The role involves supporting research, development, and acquisition efforts while interfacing with stakeholders in the National Reconnaissance Office and intelligence community. Candidates will guide DoD and civil clients in enhancing national security through innovative technology development and system integration at the Chantilly, VA facility.

Responsibilities

Perform analysis, modeling, and simulation of communications and signal processing systems.
Support research, development, and acquisition of advanced space systems.
Coordinate tasking and lead teams for National Reconnaissance Office projects.
Initiate studies and resolve anomalies for satellite and ground processing applications.
Represent the organization at technical meetings and symposia presentations.
