About this role

The Senior Controls Engineer serves as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and related controls infrastructure supporting CyrusOne's global data center portfolio. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining controls engineering standards, design criteria, and technical requirements while ensuring reliable integration into data center design, construction, commissioning, and operations. The position partners with internal teams, external consultants, and customers to deliver scalable, standardized, and operationally effective controls solutions.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical lead for Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems
Develop and maintain controls engineering standards, design criteria, and sequences of operation
Support project delivery from pre-construction planning through commissioning and turnover

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related engineering disciplineProfessional Engineer (PE) license
