About this role

The Senior Counsel, Data Governance will own Hello Heart’s legal and regulatory strategy for data use, leading negotiations on data rights and AI applications across client and partner agreements. Reporting to the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, this role involves operating the company’s privacy and AI governance programs, translating complex requirements into practical policies, controls, and contracts. The position requires an owner-operator mindset to build, implement, and monitor data governance frameworks while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

Responsibilities

Lead negotiations on data rights and AI use in client and partner agreements
Operate privacy and AI governance programs including risk assessments and compliance monitoring
Implement data governance controls and policies across product and engineering teams
