Motiva is seeking a Senior Counsel to serve as the primary legal advisor to its Major Capital Projects and Procurement teams. The role partners with cross-functional teams to enable large refining and chemicals projects and coordinates with Motiva Legal and outside counsel. The position is based in downtown Houston with potential travel to the Port Arthur Manufacturing Complex as projects progress.

Qualifications
- JD from an accredited US law school
- License to practice law in Texas
- Minimum eight years of experience in major project procurement law

- Strong stakeholder coordination
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Experience representing owners in large law firm or in-house counsel
- Experience resolving construction-related disputes
