About this role

The Senior Data & Analytics Engineer provides senior-level data engineering, architecture, and analytics support to the Director of Data Management and Performance Assessment within the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for the Defense Industrial Base. The role involves developing governed data products, analytic capabilities, and semantic layers to support the assessment of defense-industrial-base performance, production capacity, and supply-chain risk. This position requires transforming complex source data into well-documented, analytic-ready datasets while ensuring data quality and governance standards are met.

Responsibilities

Design and develop governed data pipelines and semantic models
Transform complex source data into analytic-ready datasets
Develop Power BI dashboards and business intelligence products
