About this role

The Senior Data Engineer – Digital & Behavioural Telemetry owns the engineering and evolution of digital behavioural and telemetry data to explain how customers interact with CarTrawler products and partner experiences. This role combines behavioural telemetry, web-engine telemetry, and conversion data with practical standards for instrumentation and governed downstream use. The position works closely with Product & Technology engineering teams to ensure new features produce consistent, contextualised data enabling analytics and reusable data products.

Responsibilities

Engineer and evolve governed data products for digital behavioral and telemetry data
Define event taxonomies, schemas, and contracts for web and product telemetry
Implement data quality, automated testing, and lifecycle practices for telemetry data
