About this role

SiFive is seeking a Senior Design Verification Engineer to drive functional verification of high-performance CPU core units, focusing on out-of-order core verification across areas like the Frontend, Midcore, and Load-Store Unit. The role involves collaborating with architecture and design teams to ensure design intent is verified correctly, identifying risks early, and achieving signoff quality through strong technical execution. The engineer will independently own verification work, solve complex debug problems, and contribute to reusable methodologies and infrastructure for the broader CPU DV team.

Responsibilities

Drive functional verification of high-performance CPU core units
Develop and maintain robust verification environments and testbenches
Analyze failures and drive fixes across RTL and testbench infrastructure
