About this role

This role serves as a technical project leader or expert within Roche's Device Development department, focusing on the engineering and commercialization of drug delivery devices. The position involves applying design controls, solving complex mechanical engineering challenges, and providing strategic guidance to ensure robust product development and regulatory compliance. Candidates will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial groups to bring combination products and medical devices to market.

Responsibilities

Lead technical projects to bring combination products and medical devices to market
Evaluate new technologies and establish robust technical product requirements
Collaborate with external partners to oversee mechanical designs for combination products
Lead internal and external technical investigations to resolve design-related device issues
Author design control documentation and risk management documentation for compliance
