About this role

AtkinsRéalis Transmission, Distribution and Renewables division is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission substation design. The role involves providing technical leadership and engineering expertise for 500 kV and above transmission substations, including both Air-Insulated and Gas-Insulated Substations. The successful candidate will deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective substation designs while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical engineering design for 500 kV and above transmission substations
Develop and review core electrical engineering deliverables and technical specifications
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients on technical matters
