AESO
This role coordinates and guides the development of Alberta Reliability Standards (ARS) to support the safe, reliable, and economic operation of the Alberta interconnected electric system. It reports to the Manager, Standards & Modelling and requires domain knowledge of high-voltage facilities, transmission system operations, and protection and control systems.
The Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the Alberta Interconnected Electric System (AIES).
