Senior Engineer – Protection & Control

The Senior Engineer – Protection & Control is responsible for designing and configuring automation, data collection, protection, and control equipment subsystems within AVANGRID's engineering team. This role ensures the safe, timely, and cost-effective completion of projects across the electric delivery infrastructure. The position involves leading engineering contractors, analyzing disturbance events, and acting as a subject matter expert for NERC compliance programs. The engineer will collaborate with project teams to resolve protection and control system issues while representing the company on regional and national committees.
