This role involves leading the engineering, development, and delivery of high-performance transmission components and systems for Gordon Murray Automotive programmes. The position requires providing technical leadership throughout the product development lifecycle, from defining requirements and concept development through to validation, certification, and production release. The successful candidate will work across internal teams and external suppliers to deliver lightweight, driver-focused transmission systems to the highest standards of performance, safety, and quality.
Gordon Murray Automotive is a British handcrafted supercar manufacturer dedicated to the purest possible driving experience, producing intentionally limited-run vehicles including the T.50, T.33, T.33 Spider, T.50s, Le Mans GTR, and S1 LM. Founded on Gordon Murray's Formula 1 engineering philosophy, every car is conceived around the driver with an uncompromising focus on lightweight construction, proportion, and mechanical purity. Production is strictly limited to 80 units or fewer per model, with all current allocations fully reserved.
