About this role

A Senior Firmware Engineer I in Rocket Lab’s Optical Systems division will support advanced EO/IR payload development for Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers, using FPGA technologies (including Xilinx) for SDA’s Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. The role is based in Chantilly, VA and requires collaboration across hardware, software, and production teams to translate requirements and ensure designs meet performance and security constraints. Candidates must be eligible for U.S. export-controlled work and able to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance.
