About this role
A Senior Firmware Engineer II/Principal at Rocket Lab’s Optical Systems division will design and deliver FPGA-based firmware for advanced EO/IR space payloads supporting DoD and Intelligence Community customers. The role supports Tranche 3 of the SDA PWSA, working with Xilinx FPGAs and collaborating with hardware and software teams during bring-up, test, and lab debug. The position is based in Tucson, AZ or Chantilly, VA and requires ITAR eligibility and an active TS/SCI clearance.
