About this role

As a Senior Forward-Deployed Data Engineer at Qualified Health, you will lead the build of modern, AI-ready lakehouse architectures for health system customers using Databricks, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric. This forward-deployed role requires working directly on-site within client environments to design ingestion pipelines, configure governance, and deliver production-grade data solutions that support agentic AI workflows. You will serve as the sole platform expert during engagements, building reusable infrastructure assets and collaborating with technical leadership to ensure data is governed and ready for integration.

Responsibilities

Lead platform-specific architecture and build for health system data modernization engagements
Design and implement ingestion pipelines from EHR systems into modern lakehouse architectures
Configure governance, access control, and data-sharing patterns for AI-ready data delivery
Sustain production environments and develop reusable accelerators for future engagements
Present technical design decisions and progress to client data and IT leadership on-site
