Minecraft is a sandbox construction and survival video game franchise created by Mojang Studios (part of Microsoft) that lets players build, explore, and survive in procedurally generated block worlds. It’s available across PC, consoles, and mobile, and supports single-player, multiplayer servers, mods, and a curated Marketplace for maps, skins, and add-ons. The franchise also includes spin-offs (like Minecraft Dungeons), Minecraft: Education Edition for classrooms, and a wide range of merchandise and accessories. Minecraft.net serves as the official hub to buy and download the game, get news and updates, and access community and developer resources.
