Senior General Ledger Accountant

The Senior General Ledger Accountant ensures financial accuracy and compliance by performing monthly general ledger reconciliations, completing journal entries, and assisting with the year-end audit process. This role involves managing recurring adjustments, preparing complex journal entries in accordance with GAAP, and acting as a liaison for university departments regarding finance-related matters. The position also includes preparing sales tax returns, supporting annual audits, and providing backup support to other accounting staff as needed.
