About this role

This role serves as KoBold's geochemical lead for southern Africa, reporting to the Principal Geochemist and working within the Mingomba project team. The position is responsible for owning geochemical quality control systems, ensuring data defensibility for resource modeling, and driving geochemical activities across Zambia, the DRC, and Namibia. The role involves leading both brownfield and greenfield geochemical programs while providing technical guidance to in-country teams.

Responsibilities

Own geochemical quality control systems for deposit definition drilling programs
Provide independent assessment and sign-off of assay data for mineral resource estimation
Lead greenfield geochemical target generation for copper, lithium, and nickel programs
