The Senior Grants Associate will write high-quality grant applications, proposals, and reports to secure foundation and government funding for Met Council. The role collaborates with program, finance, and development staff and supports the Grants Team in managing a diverse portfolio of funding opportunities.
Met Council is America's largest Jewish nonprofit dedicated to fighting poverty, serving more than 350,000 clients each year through ten departments staffed by expert social workers and powered by AI tools. Based in New York City, the organization delivers a broad range of social services—including food assistance, crisis intervention, senior services, family violence support, and affordable housing—to vulnerable New Yorkers. Met Council also advocates on behalf of all needy New Yorkers and serves as the umbrella organization for 15 local Jewish Community Councils throughout New York City.
