About this role

Impinj is seeking an experienced Hardware Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement test programs for semiconductor wafers and devices across Automated Testing Equipment (ATE) platforms. The role involves managing production test systems in Asia, ensuring smooth transitions from New Product Introduction to high-volume production, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate next-generation End-point ICs. Key duties include troubleshooting instrumentation, analyzing test data using statistical process control, and maintaining operational relationships with subcontractors to sustain production readiness.

Responsibilities

Design and implement test programs to characterize and validate semiconductor devices
Manage production test systems scheduling and allocation to ensure optimal throughput
Lead hands-on installation and troubleshooting of ATE systems and instrumentation
Analyze test data and apply statistical process control methods for continuous improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute test plans across development and production phases
