Senior Health Project Officer

The Senior Health Officer supports implementation of a polio eradication project focused on strengthening Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP) surveillance among communities near the South Sudan–Uganda border and in refugee settlements. Reporting to the Health Manager, the role involves close collaboration with District Health Teams and other stakeholders to ensure program quality, data-driven decision making, and capacity strengthening. The position sits within IRC’s health and nutrition programming in Uganda and contributes to broader public health and humanitarian objectives.
