The Texas Permanent School Fund Corporation (Texas PSF) is a stand-alone special-purpose governmental corporation created by the Texas Legislature in 2021 to manage the Texas Permanent School Fund and oversee the Bond Guarantee Program. It is dedicated to providing permanent funding for Texas public schools by generating investment returns, and it reduces borrowing costs for Texas school districts. The PSF currently holds over $60 billion in assets and distributes more than $2.4 billion annually to Texas K-12 schools.
