About this role

This role involves serving as a hands-on technical lead for Clover, a Fiserv company, driving hardware certification, reader SDK integrations, and alignment with Core Payments infrastructure. The position requires deep expertise in mobile payments, payment reader hardware integration, and core transaction flows to ensure fast, secure, and compliant mobile payment experiences. The engineer will work closely with on-site hardware labs, certification teams, and cross-functional engineering groups in Sunnyvale, California.

Responsibilities

Design and build native iOS framework components for Bluetooth Low Energy and EMV card readers
Lead end-to-end device and software payment certification efforts including PCI-DSS and EMVCo standards
Interface with Core Payments engineering to integrate transaction processing and cryptographic protocols on iOS
