This role serves as the technical owner and scientific translation layer for Altos Labs' biological knowledge representation, bridging biological discovery with AI platform engineering. The position involves governing the canonical LinkML/Biolink schema, administering agentic curation frameworks, and establishing standards for biological data harmonization and quality. The individual will drive the rigorous encoding of implicit models from scientists and utilize automated workflows to scale data curation and validation.

Design and maintain internal LinkML and Biolink models and ontologies
Administer and refine agentic curation framework and Model Context Protocol service layer
Define mapping patterns and metadata conventions for diverse experimental modalities
