About this role

This role leads application security efforts to protect athenahealth's products and customer data by identifying vulnerabilities and reducing risk through secure design and remediation. Working within the DevSecOps team, the lead partners with engineering and security groups to embed security into the software development lifecycle, utilizing AI-enabled analytics and automation. The position is based in Bangalore with a hybrid work model reporting to the Director in Information Security.

Responsibilities

Lead application security programs to identify and reduce risk across software products.
Prioritize vulnerabilities based on exploitability and business impact criteria.
Partner with engineering teams to design and implement secure-by-design patterns.
Manage security scanning tools and track remediation workflows effectively.
Drive remediation efforts by coordinating practical fixes with technical teams.
