About this role

The Senior Manager, Business Development serves as the Faculty of Engineering's chief commercial strategist, leading the development and execution of partnership and commercialization initiatives that generate revenue and strategic impact. This role works closely with senior faculty leadership to align external collaborations with institutional priorities and oversees technology commercialization projects such as the uOttawa–IBM Cyber Range.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute external partnership and commercialization strategy
Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic industry and government partnerships
Lead technology commercialization initiatives and revenue targets
Build and manage high‑value portfolio of strategic relationships
