About this role

The Senior Manager - Data & AI Governance leads AFCA's approach to responsible data and AI adoption, owning the end-to-end governance lifecycle from policy design to ongoing oversight. Reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics, this role partners with organizational leaders to embed governance practices that support innovation while protecting people, customers, and the community within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end Data and AI governance lifecycle from policy to oversight
Design and implement governance frameworks aligned with regulatory developments
Lead evaluation and assessment of AI tools for accuracy and bias
Integrate governance with privacy, information management, and security frameworks
Lead and develop the Data Governance team while managing operational delivery
