About this role

The Senior Manager, HRIS at Extendicare ensures the integrity, quality, and future-readiness of the organization's HR system configurations and data. Reporting to the Sr. Director of HR Technology, this role establishes architectural standards for Workday HCM, leads technical evaluations of platform releases, and manages rigorous end-to-end testing frameworks. The position involves coordinating with functional HR leaders and IT to assess downstream impacts, maintain data governance, and champion a culture of quality within the HRIS team.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain coherent configuration frameworks and architectural standards for Workday HCM modules.
Lead technical evaluation of Workday biannual releases for configuration suitability and architectural impact.
Develop and maintain structured release assessment processes for new platform features.
Own and enhance end-to-end testing frameworks including unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
Lead design and execution of regular HR data audits to proactively identify and remediate data quality issues.

Post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fieldMaster's degree preferred
