This role serves as a key technical resource supporting electroplating and chemical processing operations within a landing gear Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul facility. The position focuses on maintaining process stability, troubleshooting complex plating challenges, qualifying manufacturing processes, and driving improvements in safety, quality, and operational performance. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure plating processes are technically sound, compliant with aerospace requirements, and consistently executed.

Responsibilities

Provide technical engineering support for aerospace electroplating and chemical processing operations
Troubleshoot plating defects and process instability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
Lead process qualification and requalification activities including development of qualification plans and testing
